Equine Cushing’s Disease

چکیده

Equine Cushing’s disease or hyperadrenocortiscism is an age-related endocrine disease common in older horses that results in an increased cortisol production. This incurable disease can be characterized by an unusually hairy coat and has a wide variety of other symptoms, which once diagnosed by one of the numerous diagnostic tests available, can be treated with various drugs and husbandry practices.
